Refugee Services of Texas assists in the resettlement of refugees from around the globe to Austin, TX. A sponsored family has the added benefit of the support of people who know the city, understand how to navigate daily activities (i.e., grocery shopping, riding the bus, applying for jobs, etc.) and may have connections to faith-groups or organizations that can provided additional donations of goods and resources so needed to make resettlement successful.
